Since 1988, we’ve been bringing together regional farmers and a warm family kitchen feeling at what used to be known as the “granola mall” of Ottawa. Through simple & honest cooking from scratch, The Green Door provides the local community with delicious, accessible, and nourishing food. Absolutely no refined ingredients. Quality, wholesome, natural and fresh are our basic tenets.
Each day, you can expect to choose from a selection of hot dishes and salads as well as amazing desserts, all of which are prepared from scratch. Our menu shifts with the seasons as local farmers deliver fresh, organic produce to our back door. However, you can always find some favourites such as the tofu-broccoli stir fry or avocado salad.

The majority of our menu is gluten-free, vegan, and organic - and all dishes are clearly labeled as to whether they contain gluten, dairy, soy, or nuts. Please find a guide to our buffet allergen labels here. We do not use any sweetener in our soup, bread, hot dishes, or salads. The Green Door is fully licensed with a selection that includes organic beers and wine.
