Front of House Team

1 position, start date July 22 onwards

20 hours/week in July and August and 30 + hours/week  between September - April

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a great team at Ottawa’s oldest vegetarian restaurant. We take pride in the fact that all of our food is made on-site from scratch using local & organic ingredients. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our team!

As a front of house employee you are the first and last a customer interacts with. Our goal is to have our customers leave with a positive dining experience and we pride ourselves on having positive, friendly and attentive cashiers.

As a cashier / front of house employee, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing positive experience to patrons.
  • Conducting sales transactions on POS and take payments accurately.
  • Ensuring the dining area is clean, ready and safe for patrons.
  • Restocking all customer-facing items.
  • Being knowledgeable of our menu, ingredients and products we carry.
  • Having the ability to stay organized, calm, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Being a problem solver, self starter and team player.
  • Customer service experience with a Smart Serve certification 
  • Must be able to converse in French and English.
